The British Embassy in Dakar is part of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office’s global network of 261 diplomatic posts around the world. We support the UK’s interests in Senegal, Cape Verde, Guinea Bissau and Mali, fostering bilateral relations and delivering migration and consular services. Our work includes:
- by tackling the causes of conflict by promoting and developing human rights, democracy and good governance (case studies CHILD RIGHTS IN SENEGAL ; IMPLEMENTING HUMAN RIGHTS CONVENTIONS ; CAPE VERDE SECURITY COOPERATION; IMPROVING EDUCATION IN SEGOU, MALI)
